this blog (now about myself and a daily jot or two) was originally founded on the insatiable desire to BE inspired... which was based on a overwhelming and quite pitiful lack off motivation. but ive come to realize that I didnt need inspiration, I just didnt need "you".
Now inspired I hope to spread the love of living life and exploring its wondrous self and remind you/those looking for inspiration-
Dr. Seuss once said:
“You can get help from teachers, but you are going to have to learn a lot by yourself, sitting alone in a room."
“You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. You can steer yourself in any direction you choose. You're on your own.
And you know what you know. You are the guy who'll decide where to go.”
“The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you'll go.”
Dr Seuss may have only said this "once upon a time, but is repeated in my mind everyday. Maybe not these exact words, but the inspiration they passed on to us all. And not only the Dr's words, but the words of all our heros/idols, the random covers of books that inspire us in Barnes n Noble, the giant paintings of Pigeons on front porches, the hundreds of stuffed pandas in front yards, the tattoos you see, the people you watch, admire, and make you stare in amazment. Everything can be an inspiration.. if you let it.. (now i tell you, MAKE IT)
